G'day Shipmates,
Great web site. Obviously you have a ball at your social gatherings--congratulations.
I look forward to catching up with you at the Sharpness Reunion and maybe enjoy a little "Swinging of the lamp"
From all of us Vindi lads in Western Australia, keep up the good work.
Best wishes, Tony Harben [President W.A. Vindicatrix Association inc].

Having just joined the Vindi association, also after attending two functions, I am very impressed with the organisation.
I served in the Merchant navy from July 1957 to April 1960, but the Vindi days are still a vivid memory.
I sailed all over the world during 12 voyages, all out of Manchester via the ship canal.
As far as I am aware, if you were a vindicatrix boy, you had 11days to, if you were a Vindi boy, you 5 days to do, But if you were a bridge boy, you had 22days left to do, that's one day for every span of the bridge.
A whole lifetime has passed sinced then, but the Vindi days will never be erased.
Regards,
Trevose.
